Cambodia is classified as one of the poorest countries in the world. I
believe Education is the most important tool for the citizens to help
themselves. My dream for "CAFFE" will respond to the immediate need for
vocational and skills training. Focusing on the children, the mission
is to build a future based on non-violence, caring, understanding, and
humanitarian relief for children in Cambodia.
I hope to help Khmer children in Cambodia gain the education and bare
necessities to survive and be self-sufficient in life. I was born there
and lived through horrible times dealing with starvation, war and
killing. I have the determination and knowledge to help these children
succeed. The best example I can give for myself is:
"I am a good driver. I know where my destination is and I have a plan to get there, but all I need is gas."
